His name is Tony Richards and he has a 15 year old daughter in boarding school in Italy. This has gone on for 16 months and the guy still got in touch with me last week wishing me a happy new year and that he would be home with me soon haha.

I can't believe I was so gullible and believed every word my doctor friend said.

This is trying to take advantage of victims again by charging a small [so they claim] fee for recovering their money - which is just another scam! He was born 5/7/60 & his photos (3) showed him as good looking with gray hair.

Others try to post saying that [name of scammer] is not a scammer, or they threaten me with voodoo or black magic if I don't remove the posts that reference them. His daughter was in a photo with him & had long blonde hair.

The less we interact with them the less hold they have on us. No online presence in the name he gave, no verifiable info forthcoming. Supposedly now on drilling platform in Poland, having a bad day, and machinery order held up with final payment needed, bank account frozen because he didn't notify them he's abroad. I have received so many friend requests through a friend. I just wanted to add that my guy used the name Micheal (NOT MICHAEL) John.

Accent I couldn't quite identify, inconsistent with someone claiming to have lived all his life in Florida and Denver. Messaging all times of day and night, spent most of yesterday on hangouts. I know they won’t be able to get friends from my friends list because it’s private. First clue -2 first names being used, Second- he only has a few posts and is following many women. Don't fall for these schemes and do Not give any money for any reason. Try meeting at church or a local dance in your area. If it looks like a duck, sounds and walks like a duck, It Is A Duck!!! If you need Someone to tell you you are beautiful, just come to the Facebook site and we will tell you those things and you still have your money and your heart.

We were both on a dating site and he quicky asked me to jump over to Yahoo and use regular email so I set up a bogus account on Yahoo and also gmail, and Installed the chat. Widowed, one child , age 15 however, once we got to regular email his emails were very choppy. He said he was self Employed oil rig engineer in Houston, Tx with 8 men working with him. I’d post his pic but interestingly enough it is gone from FB.

He right away fell madly in love with me and told me how great a kisser he was. I’ll keep hunting this lowlife down and post anything I find. Same Sad Story1/5/18 Don’t trust those either and instead of a private inbox they put their opinion in the notifications right in public.

We must let all our Facebook friends know what to watch out for. I was hurt and felt betrayed by her giving out this site for I Swear I think the Ed Steve has done a great job here to keep us protected and I praise them for it. Hope ones reading this understand "Do Not Give This Site To Your Scammers" They all work together. They then provide a email address that victims can contact to get their money back. He even said I was his soul mate, that he was in love with me. Live and learn, but he had a wonderful beauty about him. My guy had the same backstory: owned his own offshore drilling company and currently working on a project for Exxon Mobil which ends in February. Widower looking for a wife & good mother for daughter. I found him interesting at first – he was a friend of a friend on FB.I believe I screen most/all of the scammer posts before they appear in order to keep this a safe place for victims to communicate - anonymously if they wish. As his texts became longer it was evident he had broken English.

If you say, “It’s a beautiful day,” he’ll say, “What’s great about it, the weather’s crappy.” If you say you like sushi, he’ll say, “Are you kidding, it’ll give you parasites.” Discounting: He denies your experience of his abuse.… continue reading »

His acting was superb, which is not really a big suprise, but he seemed more into this role than some others I've seen him in. Like a lot of other people, I found Lorraine Bracco's character quite annoying, almost insufferable at certain points, but that's the whole point: her character is supposed to be like that, and the truth is that if she didn't come across as so irritating then that would have been failed acting skills on her part.… continue reading »
